The Wooden Stick is a quest item in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, which can be used to earn a unique costume for Lune.
In Clair Obscur Expedition 33, players will engage in various side quests while exploring different regions. Besides uncovering the lore of the world, some quests reward players with useful items. In one of the side quests in Gestral Village, you need to obtain the Wooden Stick, which is used to earn a special outfit for Lune.
Gestral Village is a large town-like region players reach during their early game. The region is expansive and includes various mysteries and secrets, making it easy to overlook this Wooden Stick quest. How To Get Wooden Stick in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Players can obtain the Wooden Stick by purchasing it from a Gestral in the Gestral Bazar. The Bazar can be easily spotted, as it is situated right next to the Chief House at the center of the settlement. The Gestral Bazar can be seen to the left of the Chief House.
While the Bazar is bustling with different types of Gestrals, you should look for the one with a gigantic appearance and green hair, found a little deeper into the Bazar. Interact with the Large Gestral, who will claim he is selling the special Excalibur sword, which costs 1,000 Chroma. Choose the ‘I’m Paying’ option to complete the deal and obtain the Wooden Stick.

How To Use Wooden Stick in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Since players cannot use or equip the Wooden Stick, they might think it serves no purpose. Fortunately, it does—within the Gestral Village. The description of the quest item mentions that Gestral kids are fond of the weapon, which is your clue. You need to find a Gestral kid within the Gestral Village.
Start from the Chief House and pass through the pathway on the right of Gestral Bazar. Follow the path, and you will eventually reach a shining rope-like item. Use the rope to get to the top of the wooden platform. Continue along the path using your parkour skills, which leads you to a pillar. You will find a small Gestralkid named Purumi sitting on top of the pillar.
Interact with Purumi to convince him to get down from the pillar. Then, talk with the big Gestral named Alexsoundro, standing below the pillar, to complete the quest and earn the Sakapatate outfit for Lune.
