Gestral Village is a key region in the Clair Obscur Expedition 33. It is also one of the first proper towns you will visit in the game. Once you complete the tournament, speaking with Golgra triggers a conversation, where he says, “We opened the back door for you. It will be easier to come back and visit us”. How To Leave the Gestral Village via the Back Door in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
After completing the Gestral Village tournament in Act 1 of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, players need to get to the Esquie’s Nest to recruit the Legendary Esquie to aid them when they traverse across the Continent. If you are searching for the back door inside the Gestral Village region, you are wasting your time. It is because the back door is actually located on the Continent map and can only be accessed from there.
This opens a large wooden door on the Continent, which directly leads you to Esquie’s Nest. The door is located southeast of the Gestral Village portal and provides an easy travel option while going back and forth between Gestral Village and Esquie’s Nest. It removes the need for players to travel through the Ancient Sanctuary to access the Gestral Village. Instead, they can simply access the ‘back door’ for quick visits.
Follow the wooden slat pathway from the Chief’s House in Gestral Village. It leads you directly to the portal that you originally used to enter the area. Entering the portal takes you to the Continent, where you will find the large wooden door—the back door that Golgra referred to. Enter through the door to reach Esquie’s Nest and progress further into the storyline.
