In this guide, we’ll explain how you can find the Flying Waters Mime in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. We also share a few tips to beat it.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 does not hold your hand when it comes to facing tough opponents. The game follows a similar approach when it comes to discovering all of its many secrets. For instance, you need to explore every region of the game’s maps to find all of the Mimes. These secret mini-boss enemies can be tough to beat, but they drop exciting cosmetic items.
In this guide, we’ll focus on the location of the Flying Waters Mime in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. If you are not careful, you could easily miss this faceoff and the cosmetic item the enemy drops.
Where Is the Flying Waters Mime in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?

Flying Waters is the second main map region you get to explore while playing the game. This is where you discover The Manor for the first time and reunite with Maelle. After finding her, you will encounter the Gestral Noco, who points you toward the Gestral Village. Just after this interaction, travel down the path to the left of the nearby Expedition 59 flag. You will come face-to-face with a destroyed ship. Go through it to enter a cave and proceed forward until you reach a cliff that overlooks a large Bourgeon in the distance.
From this point, turn right and you will see a wall with handholds you can climb. However, don’t climb up. Instead, look to the left of the wall to find a small pathway between the seaweed. Following this path will lead you to another wall that you will have to climb. At the top, you will find the Mime in the Flying Waters region.
Fighting the Mime is much like facing the other Mimes in the game. At the start of the battle, the Mime creates an invisible wall of protection around itself. It has two types of attacks. The first involves a series of fast punches followed by a slower final blow. The second attack sees the Mime using a giant hammer to strike down at you. The first two swings are quick, the third is a bit slower, and the final strike takes the longest. If you can master the timing of parries and dodges, the fight shouldn’t feel too difficult.

Select the one you just unlocked to see how Maelle looks with it in-game.
