Classes in Apocrypha define how you fight, move, and progress through the game. Each one brings a distinct set of abilities that can change your entire playstyle, from fast parkour skills to high-damage weapon techniques. Unlocking them requires specific steps, whether through NPC missions or rare Artifacts, making every class feel earned.
All Classes in Apocrypha
There are six classes to unlock in the game. Two are Character Skill Classes and four are Weapon Classes that require specific Artifacts and weapons.
Rogue
The Rogue class focuses on mobility and utility. It grants parkour abilities like wall running, sliding, and climbing, and also allows you to pick locks and pockets. One of its most useful features is the ability to walk on water, making it essential for exploration and treasure hunting.
- How to Get:
- Speak to the Nero NPC at the Flying Airship and go to the Sunken Bastille.
- Complete Nero’s mission by eliminating the guard.
- Escape the Sunken Bastille and return to the Flying Airship to unlock the class.
Witchcraft
Witchcraft specializes in spellcasting without the need to hold a spellbook. This class lets you use magic more freely and keeps combat fluid by focusing entirely on casting rather than item management.
- How to Get:
- Find Faelanor NPC reading a book opposite the Captain’s Quarters on the Flying Airship and interact with him.
Harvester (Scythe Weapon Class)
Harvester transforms the Scythe into a deadly weapon with a set of high-damage moves, including Veil Spiral, Seismic Reap, Scarlet Quartet, and Scythe Flurry. Its ultimate, Harvest Moon, enhances all attacks by adding teleportation effects and boosting overall damage, making it a strong offensive class.
- How to Get:
- Open Lockboxes from Noir NPC until you obtain the Harvester Artifact (4 percent drop chance).
- Talk to Noir again and select Train Me to unlock the class.
- Purchase the Scythe from Beowulf NPC for 10 Lunari.

Shinobi (Katana Weapon Class)
Shinobi focuses on fast, precise Katana strikes combined with high mobility. It includes skills like Wind Dance, Flash Strike, and Blade Tempest, with the Eternal Bloom ultimate stopping time around you for a massive combat advantage. Unique moves like the Prosthetic Arm also allow creative combos and setups.

- Obtain the Shinobi Artifact from Lockboxes sold by Noir NPC (4 percent drop chance).
- Train with Noir to learn the class.

Spellblade (Dual Swords Weapon Class)
Spellblade is built around fast dual-sword combat mixed with magical enhancements. It features moves like Dual Sword Flurry, Prism, and Flare, while the Requiem ultimate boosts both speed and damage. One of its standout abilities is Summon, which can remove enemy enchants mid-combat.
- How to Get:
- Acquire the Spellblade Artifact from Lockboxes (4 percent drop chance).
- Train with Noir NPC to unlock the class.
- Purchase Dual Swords from Beowulf NPC for 10 Lunari.
Serpent’s Fang (Spear Weapon Class)
Serpent’s Fang turns the Spear into a versatile weapon with both melee and ranged options. Its skills include Uptilt for launching enemies, Devour and Maelstrom for ranged control, and Javelin for lightning-charged strikes. The Serpent Wake ultimate transforms you into a serpent for travel and attack while granting invulnerability. It also features a unique passive, Reflexive Strike, that stuns enemies after a dodge, making it highly effective in combat.

Best Classes in Apocrypha
While every class has its strengths, a few stand out due to their overall utility and combat effectiveness. Serpent’s Fang is one of the most powerful options thanks to its combination of ranged attacks, fast mobility, and the unique passive Reflexive Strike. Its ultimate, Serpent Wake, not only grants high damage potential but also provides invulnerability during transformation, making it extremely effective in both PvE and PvP.
Harvester is another top-tier class, known for its rapid attack speed and consistent bleed damage that continues to harm enemies even after the initial strike. Its ultimate adds teleportation to all skills, giving players a strong edge in combat.
The Rogue class, while not as combat-focused, is essential for exploration and resource gathering. Its parkour skills improve movement across the map, and abilities like lockpicking and pickpocketing help you collect more treasures and Lunari. Unlocking Rogue early can significantly improve both progression and mobility throughout the game.
