Competing or teaming up with friends has always been the major highlight of sports games, and College Football 26 is no exception. With the cross-play support, you can seamlessly compete and connect with friends or other players across different platforms. College Football 26 features several different modes that allow you to play with your friends either in co-op or against each other. College Football 26 Multiplayer Modes
You can play with your friends or other players across multiple platforms in several different modes. From the main menu, navigate to Game Modes to access the following modes.
- Dynasty: It supports up to 32 players across different platforms to compete in a single league.
- Road to the CFP: It features head-to-head online action, with crossplay always enabled.
- Ultimate Team: This is the only mode where you team up with your friends online and compete in 2v2 or 3v3 action. The Squard mode allows you to team up with your friends in duo or trio matchups. The Head 2 Head mode allows you to compete against other players, while the Play a Friend option lets you dive into action against your friends in direct online matches.
- Play A Friend: This mode lets you fight your friend in an unranked match. You can customize various settings such as Fatigue, Injuries, Quarter Length, and Weather to your preference.
- Play Now: The traditional quick match that allows you to play with your friends offline. When connected with four controllers on your PlayStation/Xbox, pick your side to either play together or against your friends.
Although crossplay is enabled by default, you can turn it off from Settings > Gameplay Settings > Cross-play. To play with friends, link your EA account to your console. You can then invite/request your friends by entering their EA ID.
