How To Use Auto Drive for Vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077
To activate the Auto Drive feature in Cyberpunk 2077, you first need to get into your vehicle and sit in the driver’s seat. Then, press L3 on a controller or hold the H key on a keyboard.
If you want to reach a specific location, you need to set a waypoint before activating Auto Drive. It will also show how far you are from your destination and an estimated time of arrival. Otherwise, your vehicle will simply ride around Night City. If you just want to enjoy the neon lights and busy streets of the city, go ahead and try it. Self-Driving Delamain Cabs
In addition to the Auto Drive feature for your vehicles, the upcoming 2.3 update also adds self-driving Delamain cabs. You simply have to open the vehicle-calling options, select Delamain Cabs, and ride the vehicle. Similar to regular vehicles, you must press the Auto Drive button to activate the self-driving feature.
However, to unlock this, you must first complete the job “Don’t Lose Your Mind” and wait for a message from Delamain.
Limitations for the Auto Drive in Cyberpunk 2077
There are limitations you need to take note of when using the Auto Drive feature in Cyberpunk 2077. One of them is that it won’t work when you are not on the road. This means you can only drive automatically on the streets of Night City and not on dirt or anywhere else.
Another thing you need to know is that Auto Drive will not work during combat. Additionally, it will be disabled if your car receives too much damage. You will have to avoid damaging your car if you plan on using the Auto Drive feature.
