Dead Rails received its May 2025 update with a new game mode called Scorched Earth. If you complete the associated challenges, you can get up to 30 bonds and nine stars. Some players are facing difficulties due to the new enemies and their mechanics. This guide explains how to beat all the new challenges in Dead Rails in the Scorched Earth and Easter content.
How To Beat All New Challenges in Dead Rails Roblox’s May 2025 Update
You can access the new challenges by heading to the lobby and opening the Challenge Board. Pick up all of the new challenges and follow the steps below to beat them:
Scorched Earth Challenge
For this challenge, you have to beat the new Scorched Earth game mode. Some of the enemies in the game mode are immune to fire, which means that you cannot use the Arsonist class or any form of fire damage. To make things worse, the stage has kerosene rain, which can set you on fire if you get hit too many times by the burning enemies.
Thankfully, the enemies are easy to take out thanks to their low HP pool. Make sure you bring some healing if you have trouble dodging enemy attacks. Completing the challenge grants 30 bonds and nine stars.
Eggstravaganza Challenge
The Eggstravaganza challenge requires you to find six golden eggs in the new Dead Rails Easter map. Here are all of the egg locations:
- Sterling Mines
- Castle (two eggs)
- Fort Constitution (two eggs)
- Tesla Leb
The eggs spawn in random locations, so you have to keep an eye out for them. The eggs emit a loud sound, so you should not have much trouble finding them. Completing the challenge grants 30 bonds and nine stars.

You can spend bonds to unlock new classes and other temporary boosts:
