Here we will be discussing how to encounter and beat the Arcade Queen boss as part of an arcade game in Deltarune, Chapter 2.
With Chapters 3 and 4 of Deltarune releasing, a lot of new players are tuning in to check out what the buzz for this game is all about. This has also led to a significant increase in the number of players engaging with the first two chapters. This includes new as well as returning players. The first boss you will encounter in the second chapter is the Arcade Queen.

Arcade Queen in Deltarune, Chapter 2
Not only is Arcade Queen the first boss, but also the final boss in this chapter. Noelle is held prisoner by Arcade Queen, with our task being to free her. This is when you first encounter the queen. The queen grants her access to freedom under the condition that she accepts a form of being a peon.
Before the ordeal of this taking place, you arrive at the scene to save Noelle. The Arcade Queen immediately challenges us to an arcade game to potentially recruit us to be her peons and help her in world domination. After a series of group efforts, you three are in a position to begin the arcade game.
How To Defeat the Arcade Queen
Once the game begins, you will see an avatar of yours facing an avatar of the queen in a boxing match. You are the blue-coloured outline. The queen has three different stages of combat. These are as follows.
Stage 1: The queen will resort to high kick attacks. These will come at you right from the centre. You have the option to dodge the incoming attacks by moving either left or right. You can press the prompted buttons at the beginning of the round to dodge and throw attacks.
Stage 2: The queen will then launch a wheel projectile from the sides of the screen. To dodge these, you will need to quickly duck using the prompt button. Immediately after, she will throw another wheel from the top of the screen. To counter this, you will need to throw an attack right at it. This will break and shatter it into pieces.
Stage 3: After the wheel round, you will be back to the normal fighting stage. Quickly dodge and attack to finish the fight and lay waste to the queen.
Tip: When waiting for the queen to attack you, look out for a blink of a glow on the queen’s avatar. The moment you see the glow, dodge to the left or right. The glow indicates that she is going to attack. As soon as she attacks, you have the window to lay two strikes on her. Make the most of it.
As soon as you win, the arcade machine gets destroyed. The queen is impressed and gives you two prompt choices to choose from. You can either choose to flourish under the warm ‘bosom’ of my hellish reign or ‘perish’ in the chill of absolute destruction. Neither choice will have a direct impact on the story ahead, but it is more directed to understand Kris’s personality.
