Before facing the Queen in single combat, you must fight her when she is being aided by Wired Berdly in Deltarune.

Although Deltarune has a lot of boss fights and mini-bosses, few come close in length to the Queen and Wired Berdly fight in Deltarune. This will be one of the longest encounters in the game, so you should proceed accordingly.
Here is how to free Berdly and defeat the Queen.

How To Defeat Queen and Wired Berdly in Deltarune

This will not be your first encounter with Queen. You first met her at the start of the chapter, in the Arcade Queen fight.
In this rematch, she has Berdly hooked up to a wire. You can either attack Queen directly or choose to free Berdly.
She will occasionally put up a defensive barrier made of acid. You should use the Group Toast ACT to drain this shield. You can also choose to attack her directly while her shield is down or to free Berdly. Either method will end the fight.

How To Free Wired Berdly
If all three party members are alive, use the Group Loosen ACT to free Berdly eventually. This will loosen the wire by 15%. However, using the Loosen ACT individually will only increase this meter by 5%. On the other hand, this changes to 8% if two party members are down.
Once Berdly is freed from the wire, the battle will end, and Queen will be forced to escape. Alternatively, you can use the Throw ACT to try to cut Berdly’s wires. If you hit all the wires in one throw, you can loosen the wire by 25%. However, this is much harder, so you might want to stick to the first method if this does not work out for you.
Moves To Avoid
- During the battle, Queen will fill her Wine glass to power up her shield. This can happen three times during the battle. While this shield is up, you cannot loosen Berdly or attack Queen. Therefore, taking it down takes priority.
- She will start launching text-based projectiles that embody common internet comments at you. These are thrown from both sides (left and right), so stay in the middle and dodge accordingly.
- Queen will trap you in a moving electrical box. You need to stay in the center and avoid touching the boundary. While this is happening, she will also launch additional projectiles from the left and right of the screen.
- She will also combine her Stomp attack with a Laser attack. The stomp is indicated by flashing exclamation marks, whereas the laser trajectory will be indicated by glowing lines. This laser attack is quite similar to one of King’s attacks from Chapter 1.
- If you want to defeat her by attacking her, you must wait for the Ultimate Attack to start and fail. Without this, her HP cannot fall below 1.
