Here we will be discussing how to encounter and beat the Rollercoaster Berdly boss as part of Chapter 2 in Deltarune.
Once your group reaches the city, you will all begin to ride individual rollercoasters. This is when the Giga Queen will make her appearance and introduce one of her henchmen. This is also when Berdly makes his appearance. This battle is all about Berdly proving his loyalty to the queen and using his rollercoaster to stop us in our path.
In this article, we will be looking at how to finish the Rollercoaster Berdly Boss battle in Deltarune, Chapter 2.
Rollercoaster Berdly Boss in Deltarune, Chapter 2
Round 1
With the first round in motion, take a note of which track Berdly is on. Depending upon that, you can use the particular character’s ACT to make a move. For the first round, you will be given the choice to choose ‘Bump’ for all the characters. After selecting the option, each character will take their individual turn to bump into Berdly as and when he enters their tracks.
Round 2
The second round launches a quick minigame. Within a green box, you will need to move around a red heart and dodge the tornado strikes sent by Berdly. There will be several waves of these tornadoes coming in from the right side. Once done, you will again be prompted with the ACT choice. This time, choose the team ‘Bump’ ACT. This will have all the characters bump into Berdly’s rollercoaster one after the other.
Round 3
Immediately after, another minigame launches. This time, Berdly begins to hurl answer papers from the right side. Time your dodges and help the heart escape the incoming attacks. The attacks will be received from the top right corner and spread out the closer they approach. Once done, you will get the option to choose the ACT again. Choose the team ‘Bump’ as before and have your characters bump into Berdly one by one.
Round 4
In round 4, Berdly will now shoot strings of red light in a wavy pattern across the green box. Through these strings travels a train of paper planes. Be quick and away from the line of sight to avoid the incoming attacks. Right after the strikes, you can once again choose team ‘Bump’ to attack Berdly.
The next two rounds are similar to rounds 2 and 3, with the same patterns of attacks directed towards you. Just dodge these attacks and follow the same routine of selecting team ‘Bump’ at the end of these attacks. After the last attack, Berdly’s rollercoaster gets destroyed, and he flees.
