As with most turn-based RPGs, the ability to take less damage from attacks is very important in Deltarune. Although it is possible to avoid all attacks in the game with enough skill and patience, it is unrealistic to expect to dodge every attack.

As a result, the armors you equip make a big difference. In Chapter 1, one of the best armors you can obtain is the Silver Card. Although it is not as powerful as armors in the later chapters, it is one of the best ones available in Chapter 1. Here is how you can obtain the Silver Card in Deltarune and what it does.

The Silver Card has two effects. Firstly, it increases the equipped character’s defense by 2 points. Secondly, it increases the Dark Dollars gained after the battle by 5%.

There are several armor pieces that outdo the Silver Card in later chapters, such as the Dealmaker. However, during Chapter 1 (and even early into Chapter 2), it is one of the best armors available. Few armors raise defense by more than 2 points, and the 5% increase in money gained makes it even better.

How To Get the Silver Card in Deltarune

The Silver Card is obtained by combining two items. Specifically, you will need the two Amber Cards. These Amber Cards are obtained separately from stores.
The first Amber Card is one of the items available for sale in Seam’s store. It is priced at 100 D$. Initially, Seam’s store is normally found in the field. However, from Chapter 2 onwards, he shifts to Castle Town.

On the other hand, the second Amber Card can be purchased from Rouxls Kaard, and it is also priced at 100 D$. Rouxls’s shop is available on the fifth floor of Card Castle.

Once you have both Amber Cards, you can visit Malius to have him fuse both cards into the Silver Card. During Chapter 1, he is located at the Bake Sale. From Chapter 2 onward, he will be in Castle Town’s Top Bakery.
