Play iconic tunes like His Theme and Megalovania on Deltarune’s secret piano to trigger hidden character reactions.

Chapter 4 of Deltarune is brimming with cheeky secrets and Easter eggs hidden within its areas by Toby Fox. Besides the inevitable Toby Dog appearance, one particularly melodious secret stands out. Several easter eggs are accessible in the form of familiar tunes you can play on a large piano. While there are several pianos in Chapter 4, these songs can only be played on the large blue organ past Old Man Gerson’s study.
Where To Find the Piano in Deltarune Chapter 4

The piano in question is encountered during the main storyline, so there is no way you can miss it. You will reach the piano after passing Gerson’s study, defeating Jackenstein, the Old Man boss, and passing the climbing section.
The piano’s main purpose is to open the way ahead to the Dark Fountain. To this end, you have to find music sheets that contain the correct sequence of notes to complete the puzzle. However, since the piano has several notes and can even change octaves, it is possible to play a wide range of tunes on it. These include melodies from Deltarune, Undertale, and other pop culture references.

The “$” symbol denotes a shift in octave, which changes the light blue arrows to black arrows on the piano. Playing most of these tunes will trigger a dialogue from Susie, Ralsei, or both, followed by the tune playing once more in the background. Playing these on the keyboard may be easier than on a controller, as the diagonal directions are harder to input with the latter’s stick.
Upon attempting to play Megalovania, you will be met with a surprising result. Megalovania is the theme of Sans, the enigmatic and popular Undertale character. Once you have played all the tunes to your heart’s content, feel free to proceed with the story. However, you may not be able to return to this area later, and there are other secrets to explore, including the Secret Boss of Chapter 4.
