Players can save and recruit Ant Tenna in Deltarune despite the character being an antagonist. Read this article to know how.
If you have played Deltarune already, then you would know that Ant Tenna is an antagonist in the game. Despite the character suffering major damage from the Roaring Knight at the end of Chapter 3, you can save and even recruit him to your Castle Town. However, to do that, you will have to fulfill certain requirements. These mostly involve avoiding specific actions and saving some of the antagonist’s friends in the TV World. Once you have done so, you will be able to fix him up and then try to find someone who would adopt Tenna.
How To Save Tenna in Deltarune
First of all, if you want to save Tenna, then you have to spare Shadowguy and Pippins a few times. After that, you will be able to recruit them, which is the first step. Doing so will make Tenna appear in his room next to the Queen and Lancer during Chapter 4. Thankfully, you will meet Pippins and Shadowguy quite frequently during your journey through Chapter 3. Thus, sparing them enough time to recruit them should not be too difficult for you.
So, do not kill these NPCs when you see them. And remember to shred the papers of the Shadowguys with the controller at the end of Chapter 3.
How To Find Someone To Adopt Tenna in Deltarune
Once you have spared and recruited Pippins and Shadowguy as mentioned above, you will find Tenna in your Castle Town during the fourth chapter. To find him, simply enter the castle and take the stairs to the upper floor. Tenna will be in a separate room there. When you speak to him, he will ask you to find someone to adopt him. This is an optional quest. If you still want to do it, then here’s how.
To find someone who would adopt our former antagonist, head north. Once you reach the street below Kris’s house, turn toward the east and move forward. Eventually, you will stumble upon a lopsided house. The resident of that house will gladly adopt Tenna. Once you have done it, you are free to explore Chapter 4 in Deltarune. Lastly, we do not know if Tenna will appear in future chapters. However, anything is possible.
