K Round is one of the more unconventional boss fights in Chapter 1 of Deltarune, where you can’t beat it through direct damage.
You face many bosses in Deltarune, each with its quirks and mechanics. K Round has a very defensive mechanic, so you cannot defeat it through the traditional tried and tested method, which is to keep attacking.

How To Start the K Round Boss in Deltarune
This boss is at the end of the Great Board section of Chapter 1. You will face this boss right before the Forest section of this chapter. It is part of the main story, so you cannot miss it while progressing.
Lancer will taunt you, and talk about the encounter ahead. Following this, proceed forward, and you will start this boss.

How To Defeat K Round in Deltarune
This boss has a very straightforward moveset. Two of its attacks make it jump up and slam down. One of these jumps has its charge in the air, after which it slams down to the ground again. However, this time it will unleash a volley of stars after hitting the floor.
Another attack has it toss waves of stars at you from the right side. Stick to the left side of the box, and dodge appropriately.
Unfortunately, you cannot beat K Round using straightforward damage. Instead, it’s advised against doing so, as K Round heals up, and increases in strength upon taking some damage.
Instead, you need to use the Deep Bow ACT. This will cause K Round to bow back, causing its hat to loosen every turn. Once this happens for five turns, the crown will fall off of its head, reverting it to its C Round form.
This will end the fight, allowing you to proceed onward in your journey. That was everything to know about the K Round boss in Deltarune.
