During Chapter 3 of Deltarune, you will have to face the weather forecasting duo of Lanino and Elnina in a boss fight.
Chapter 3 of Deltarune introduces many bosses for you to overcome. Most of them have unique mechanics or conditions that set them apart from other bosses. One such boss, or rather, two such bosses, are Lanino and Elnina.
This weather forecasting couple engages you at the same time in a duo battle. Here is how you can defeat the star-crossed lovers Lanino and Elnina in Deltarune.

How To Start the Battle Against Lanino and Elnina
The battle against these two takes place during the first TV stage — TV Time: The Legend of Tenna. In this stage, Lanino and Elnina will be enjoying themselves on a date near an oasis. As you progress through this stage, you will eventually have to block off the oasis to complete the game.
Once you have done so, returning to where the Lanino and Elnina are will cause them to berate you for ruining their date. They will then attack you for this offense.

How To Defeat Lanino and Elnina in Chapter 3 of Deltarune
As with many other battles in Deltarune, Lanino and Elnina’s battle has special conditions. When the match begins, Tenna will tell you as much. He will say that to achieve victory, you need to say “I love to watch TV” 99 times.
Tenna giving you a special objective is a hint towards how this fight goes. Fighting is not recommended, as Lanino and Elnina have absurdly high HP. Instead, you should play along with Tenna’s mission. Use your ACT to say I love TV to Lanino a few times. This will cause him to question why you chose him as the ACT target multiple times.
After Lanino starts faltering, he will ask you whose attacks you think are better. Answer with whomever you please. Normally, Lanino and Elnina attack you with their attacks in synergy. But once you answer the question, your selected option’s attacks will become more powerful. Conversely, the other’s attacks will get weaker as a cost.
Eventually, the one you didn’t choose will get tired of being put down like this, and they will break off the relationship. After another attack, the other will no longer be able to continue the battle thanks to their depression. At this point, Tenna will enter the scene and finish the battle.
