The Puppet Scarf is one of many accessories you can acquire in Deltarune. Here is how to get and use this item.
In Deltarune, the majority of battles can be completed without ever FIGHTing. However, there are a few fights in which FIGHTing becomes your only option. For cases like these (or if you simply wish to FIGHT more often), weapons become very important.
Each party member uses weapons of different kinds. Kris uses swords and blades, Susie uses axes, and Ralsei uses scarfs. Most of Ralsei’s weapons are more utility-focused as he is primarily a healer. However, some of his weapons buck this trend. One such weapon is the Puppet Scarf. Here is everything you need to know about the Puppet Scarf in Deltarune.
What Does the Puppet Scarf Do in Deltarune
The Puppet Scarf is the strongest weapon currently available for Ralsei. It increases his attack by 10 points, letting Ralsei do almost as much damage as Susie or Kris. However, in exchange for this awesome power, it reduces Ralsei’s magic by 6 points.
The Puppet Scarf essentially functions as an upgraded version of the Ragger2, which is itself an upgrade of the Ragger. The Ragger increases Ralsei’s attack by 2 points. The Ragger2 increases his attack by 5 points, but reduces his magic by 1. These weapons help Ralsei do more damage in exchange for hindering his healing capabilities.
Should you choose to use the Puppet Scarf, be prepared, as you will essentially only be able to use items for healing. However, this weapon is an excellent choice if you are good at avoiding the enemy’s attacks.

How To Get the Puppet Scarf in Deltarune
You can get this scarf during Chapter two of the game. It is one of the two rewards you can get for defeating the secret boss of Chapter 2, Spamton NEO.
If you defeat Spamton NEO using ACTs, then you will be rewarded with the Dealmaker. The Dealmaker is one of the best armor pieces currently available in the game. However, should you defeat Spamton NEO by FIGHTing, you will instead get the Puppet Scarf. Regardless of how you defeat him, you will also get a Shadow Crystal.
There is one other way to get the Puppet Scarf, although it also involves defeating Spamton NEO. If you are on the secret Snowgrave route for Chapter 2, then Spamton NEO will engage you as the final boss of the chapter. In this fight, you are unable to spare Spamton, and must fight him without your allies.
Defeating him via this route will grant you the Puppet Scarf and Shadow Crystal. It is not possible to get the Dealmaker on the Snowgrave route. That was everything to know about the Puppet Scarf in Deltarune.
