Ahab Char is one of the many weapons that Bungie has introduced in Destiny 2 with its The Edge of Fate update. It’s a Solar version of the BrayTech Werewolf but with a brand-new perk pool and a rapid-fire frame. You can unlock the weapon through the season’s Reward Pass system, so keep leveling up until the weapon drops for you.
Alternatively, you might also be able to get the weapon through simple World Drops or as rewards for completing Portal activities. Either way, you will want to grab the God Rolls for the gun as early in the season as you can. Ahab Char PvP God Rolls
As a PvP weapon, the Ahab Char is quite decent. It isn’t the absolute best Solar auto rifle, but its God Roll can still form a pretty powerful variant in this mode, with a couple of really interesting perks: Perpetual Motion and Burning Ambition. The latter applies scorch on enemies with each shot, ensuring damage over time. Perpetual Motion helps stabilize the weapon even when you’re constantly moving through enclosed spaces.

- The weapon is good for sustained damage and DoT scenarios.
- Using Ricochet Rounds, you can bounce your shots off surfaces to hit enemy Guardians hiding behind cover.
- Hammer-Forged Rifling ensures that the weapon can pull off long-range shots.
- The Range Masterwork also ensures that fall-off damage is negligible as distance increases.

Ahab Char PvE God Rolls
Now let’s move on to the next part of the Ahab Char God Roll guide in Destiny 2: PvE. In PvE, the Ahab Char God Roll is a stunning weapon. It’s one of the only Solar rapid-fire auto rifle options with a Heal Clip perk. So, if you prefer sustained fire over continuous shots, this perk will be the best choice out there for you. Swashbuckler will increase damage by 33.3% per stack, for a maximum of up to five stacks.

- Use the Hammer-Forged Rifling barrel to get more range out of the weapon, as it has minimal range by default.
- Flared Magwell is the best magazine type, as it ensures speedy reloads without compromising stability.
