PvE Apex Predator God Roll
The best perks for the Apex Predator PVE God Roll are Quick Launch, Impact Casing, Reconstruction, and Bait and Switch. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.
The following list is the best perks for the Apex Predator PVE God Roll in Destiny 2:
- Launcher Barrel: Quick Launch
- Magazine: Impact Casing
- Column 3 Trait: Reconstruction
- Column 4 Trait: Bait and Switch
- Enhanced Intrinsic Frame: Handling
- Origin Trait: Explosive Pact
- Weapon Mod: Quick Access Sling
Quick Launch and Impact Casing are the best perks to put on any rocket launcher as they increase handling and actually improve the overall damage of the rocket launcher. Also, Reconstruction and Bait and Switch give us a huge damage bonus and stop us from having to manually reload our rocket launcher. Furthermore, Reconstruction loads 2 rockets initially allowing Bait and Switch to be activated and used much faster.
Rocket Launchers are notable for being some of the best single-target burst damage in the game. Apex Predator’s awesome perk combination allows for some of the absolute best burst damage in the game, only getting beat out in very specific situations.
PvP Apex Predator God Roll
The best perks for the Apex Predator PVP God Roll are Hard Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, Tracking Module, and Vorpal Weapon. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.
The following list is the best perks for the Apex Predator PVP God Roll in Destiny 2:
- Launcher Barrel: Hard Launch
- Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds
- Column 3 Trait: Tracking Module
- Column 4 Trait: Vorpal Weapon
- Enhanced Intrinsic Frame: Velocity
- Origin Trait: Explosive Pact
- Weapon Mod: Quick Access Sling
Contrary to the PvE roll, Hard Launch and High-Velocity Rounds are all about making the rocket travel faster. Players are better at avoiding danger than PvE combatants, so giving them less time to react by increasing Velocity is very important. Tracking Module will make the rocket more likely to hit is target, and Vorpal Weapon helps with taking out an opponent while they are in their super. These are mostly passive benefits just to increase the lethality of the rocket.
Rocket Launchers are decent PVP weapons that essentially get you a free kill or two with a single shot providing you don’t miss. Apex Predator may not be the best option for a PvP rocket, but it is no slouch and can perform adequately.
How to get Apex Predator God Roll in Destiny 2
You can obtain Apex Predator from the Last Wish raid that comes with the Forsaken Pack. The Last Wish raid is located in the Dreaming City node of the Director. Apex Predator can drop from any encounter or hidden chest inside of the Raid. Apex Predator can also be crafted at the Enclave once the Deepsight Pattern has been completely unlocked.
To acquire the Deepsight Pattern of the Last Wish Weapons, players will need to go to the Clan Vendor, Suraya Hawthorne at the Tower and acquire the “O Deepsight Mine” quest. This quest guarantees a red border weapon on completion and only requires that every encounter in the raid be completed. This quest can be completed weekly and once completed the player can purchase an additional Deepsight Pattern the player has unlocked in collections. Deepsight Patterns can also sometimes drop with the weapons acquired during the raid itself or have it applied to them with a Deepsight Harmonizer.
