This expansion will be available on July 15, 2025. Tuesdays are usually the weekly reset day in Destiny 2, so it is safe to assume this expansion will be available around that time. The following are the release timings across various regions:

What To Expect From the Edge of Fate Expansion?
The Edge of Fate expansion in Destiny 2 will provide the following changes:
- Kepler Destination, a brand-new location with exploration opportunities.
- An engaging, multi-dimensional campaign.
- The new power, Matterspark. This will be used in overworld navigation.
- A revamped Armor 3.0 System.
- The Gear Tiering System will have new gear tiers.
- A change in the damage system: melee damage will now be additive, and glaives will count as melee.
- Reworks and modifications in the Ability.
- The Tower will have a new Firing Range.
- Heavy Crossbows are introduced.
