Destiny 2 is an FPS game developed by Bungie. It has many game modes including adventure, nightfall, call to arms, crucible, and many more. Crucible is the PvP division added with the Season of the Seraph update. Moreover, the developer introduced competitive ranks with the Witch Queen expansion. This mode allows players to engage in fierce matches to earn ranks and reach greater heights.

In this article, we’ll dive deep into ranks and ranked rewards in Destiny 2.

Just like in Valorant or Counter-Strike, a player starts their competitive journey with an untested rank. Players have to complete a set of placement matches to get their first rank in Destiny 2. Each win rewards division points that help in ranking up, but each loss takes points too. Therefore, players have to win as much as possible to get to the higher ranks. Here are the ranks arranged in ascending order:

  • Untested
  • Copper (Tier III – I)
  • Bronze (Tier III – I)
  • Silver (Tier III – I)
  • Gold (Tier III – I)
  • Platinum (Tier III – I)
  • Adept (Tier III – I)
  • Ascendant (Tier III – I)

Players have to complete a promotional series to get to the next rank. On the other hand, they have to complete a Relegation Series otherwise, they will be de-ranked to a lower division.
