This guide will help familiarize you with the Exotic Requisition Orders in Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate and what they do.
Bungie has changed things up so drastically with Destiny 2’s The Edge of Fate expansion that players might not even discover many of the updates until much later. While you might be focusing on many of the major changes here, you could easily overlook the little things. One such aspect is the Exotic Requisition Orders, which are one-time items that you’ll receive from Ada-1. But what are these items, and how can you put them to use to enhance your build before you dive into the brand-new location and campaign missions?
This article will help you understand the purpose of Exotic Requisition Orders in Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate.
What Are Exotic Requisition Orders in Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate?
After installing The Edge of Fate update, make your way to the Tower and speak with Ada-1 down in the Sieve. She will present you with 20x Exotic Requisition Orders. You can exchange each of the Exotic Requisition Order items with Ada-1 to get a guaranteed archetype for a piece of Exotic armor. So, you’ll receive a piece of armor with a specific Primary and Secondary stat.
To do this, simply speak with Ada-1 again after receiving the free materials. From her store menu, pick the Exotic Archetype Focusing you prefer and then choose the stats. You will then need to choose one of your non-class-specific Exotic armors from before the release of the DLC where you want to apply the archetype.
You can apply the following Exotic Focusing using the Exotic Requisition Orders:

Each of the Exotic Focusings will require you to spend 1x Exotic Requisition Order. Since Ada-1 will give you 20x of the item at the beginning, you will only be able to implement the updated stat changes on 20 pieces of armor across the three characters.
