You begin the quest by heading to Tarsark and finding Davish. He is in a heated conversation with Bryona and strongly disapproves of her plan to purge Astaroth’s blood. Once he’s done ranting, talk to him, and he’ll tell you that the Elders would not approve of the plan. Seeing that there’s no way to convince Bryona and you against the plan, he’ll leave.
Once he leaves, you then have to travel to the Outer Gardens with Bryona. You’ll stumble across tons of enemies on your way there, but you can simply ride past them. Reach the Outer Garden and take the stairs heading up to the balcony. Kill all the enemies on the balcony and enter the Abandoned Alcove.
Proceed through the dungeon and you’ll find the Heavy Tome at the end. Inspect the Heavy Tome and then talk to Bryona at the other end of the hall. She’ll tell you that she’ll prepare for the ritual, and this will complete the quest.
