What is Distilled Fear in Diablo 4?
Distilled Fear is an item that can summon the boss Beast in the Ice. This item is a must to enter the boss lair, Glacial Fissure. Players have to use this summoning item to craft the Nightmare Sigil, which will let them enter it. After reaching Glacial Fissure, you’ll have to defeat hordes of enemies to reach the boss arena. Your final face-off with the Beast in the Ice will take place here.
Remember, you can only get Distilled Fear from Nightmare Dungeons that are Tier 30+. Once you reach Tier 30, every subsequent 10 Tiers improves your odds of gaining more Distilled Fears.
Where To Farm Distilled Fear?
This item can be farmed from various enemies. Its drop rate depends on defeating elites, Treasure Goblins, or opening Whisper Caches, World Bosses, and taking part in Local Events. Players require nine Distilled Fear items to summon the Beast in the Ice boss. You can add Stygian Stone to the list of items to summon the Tormented version of the boss. However, this will make the fight with the Beast in the Ice much more difficult.
