Diablo 4 delivers a powerful action RPG experience with its rich visuals and dark themes. Blizzard Entertainment’s fourth entry in the acclaimed Diablo series has environments that feel corrupted by a demonic taint. Every level and dungeon has a hand-crafted feel to it to achieve that dark tone. The different classes add to the replayability, making players come back to try new builds.
The game has seen seasonal updates ever since its launch, which have added new levels, dungeons, items, and weapons. Diablo 4 Season 9 also comes with its own set of special items called Horadric Jewels. These are socketable items that can only be placed in your jewelry, like amulets and rings. Moreover, Horadric Jewels are more powerful compared to the normal gems that you would put in instead.
How To Unlock Horadric Jewels
Players need to unlock the ability to craft Horadric Jewels in Diablo 4 Season 9 to make use of them. This can be achieved by progressing through the seasonal questline to unlock the reputation board. Also, make sure to reach the Tier 10 reward, Horadric Cache, on the board to drop Horadric Tomes.
How To Get Horadric Crest
First, play on Torment I or higher difficulty for Horadric Tomes to drop from Horadric Strongrooms. These rooms can appear randomly in Nightmare Dungeons as events. Eventually, the player teleports to Horadric Strongrooms to fight through waves of enemies. Horadric Tomes are only dropped in these Strongrooms; consuming them will grant Horadric Recipes.
These tomes will unlock the ability to craft a Horadric Jewel. This will also have a chance to drop a Horadric Crest recipe that you can craft at the Horadric Lapidary. Additionally, you will require 3,000 Horadric Phials as well as 15,000 of three different Gem Fragments.
Lastly, the Horadric Crest will provide 5% Damage Reduction and 1% Maximum Resistance to all elements for each Arcana you have equipped. It also passively provides 160 Armor and 8% Resistance to all elements, similar to other Horadric Jewels.
