Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim, the latest season of Diablo 4, adds various exciting content. In addition to the seasonal questline, the season introduces a wealth of content, including the Horadric Spellcraft system. It allows players to create personalized spells with unique effects that synergize with their build. Combine Catalysts, Infusions, and Arcana at the Horadric Spellcraft menu to customize your preferred Horadric Spells.
Each element determines certain aspects of the spell, where Arcana adds additional and bonus effects. Luminous Gem is a Magic Arcana that inflicts the Daze status effect on enemies, rendering enemies temporarily unable to use abilities. How To Obtain Luminous Gem in Diablo 4
You can obtain Magic Arcana like Luminous Gem by clearing Horadric Strongrooms, found within Nightmare Dungeons. There are three rarities of Arcana: Magic, Rare, and Legendary. While you can easily acquire Magic Arcana from Horadric Strongrooms, Rare and Legendary Arcana require you to progress further through the Horadric Knowledge system. Meanwhile, you can get Catalysts and Infusions by completing certain seasonal quests.
How To Use Luminous Gem in Diablo 4
Once obtained, equip the Luminous Gem in one of the Arcana slots to enhance your Horadric Spell with additional effects. Luminous Gem grants the Daze status effect to your Catalyst for 2 seconds.
Enemies affected by Daze cannot attack or use any abilities or skills. This gives you the window to strike back without worrying about incoming attacks. You can also upgrade the Luminous Gem using Horadric Phials up to Rank 5, which increases its effects by +1 second for each rank.
