In this guide, we shall go over how to get the Rotting Lightbringer in Diablo 4, a brand new Unique for the Druid class in Season 9.
Diablo 4 has tons of variety in its builds, and this is largely in part due to the Unique system in the game. Uniques are powerful weapons, armor, accessories, etc., all special items that a player can use. What makes these items special are the passive perks and abilities associated with them that complement different builds. Season 9 brings new Uniques into the mix, and if you’re a Druid player, the Rotting Lightbringer is just the thing for you.
The Rotting Lightbringer is a new Unique this season. This is a two-handed weapon that comes with a special Pulverize ability. If there is no puddle around you, Pulverize forms a puddle that guarantees its own Overpowers and deals 200-600% of its normal damage as Poisoning over 7 seconds. Pulverize causes all nearby puddles to splash 20-60% of their total damage both within their areas and around them.

In order to get the Rotting Lightbringer in Diablo 4, you’ll have to do quite a bit of grinding. This item is obtained as a loot drop, meaning you have to rely on RNG. The first and best way to obtain this item as loot is to target the Uber bosses in the game. We recommend grinding out Duriel, Varshan, Grigoire, The Beast in the Ice, and Urivar. These bosses hold the highest chances of dropping the Rotting Lightbringer as loot.
You can also obtain the item as a drop from enemies or inside chests across the world. Participating in world events is also a good way to get the item. Understand that the RNG in these is generally unfavorable compared to the bosses. You can also try out the Nightmare Dungeons for a chance at obtaining the item. While we recommend grinding out the bosses, they can be fairly challenging, so the world events and dungeons are your next best bet.
