In this guide, we shall go over how to get the Tyrant Bane in Diablo 4, a Horadric Jewel introduced in Season 9.
Diablo 4 allows you to play however you wish, and this is doubly true if you’re a spell user. There are tons of spells to pick from in the game, and they’re expanded further through the Horadric Jewels. Horadric Jewels are items that modify your spells and their effects. Season 0 introduced these items, and if you’re someone who loves stacking damage, then the Tyrant Bane is the Horadric Jewel for you.
The Tyrant Bane is a Horadric Jewel that helps stack damage against enemies in the game. After you deal damage over time to an enemy with the Tyrant Bane equipped, they take 0.33% more damage over time from you forever. In addition to the damage buff, the jewel also grants 160 Armor and 8% Resistance to All Elements.

You get the Tyrant Bane Horadric Jewel by crafting it using 3000 Horadric Phials, 15000 Sapphire Fragments, 15000 Skull Fragments, and 15000 Topaz Fragments at the Horadric Lapidary. You’ll need to acquire the recipe to craft the item first, which you can get through the Horadric Tomes. Follow the steps below to acquire the recipe for the Tyrant Bane:
- Interact with a Nightmare Sigil to enter a Nightmare Dungeon.
- Clear out all the enemies and use your Horadric Wayfinder. This compass will lead you to the Horadric Gateway, which in turn will grant you access to the Horadric Strongroom.
- Enter the strongroom and acquire as much Attunement as you can before the timer runs out.
- A boss will spawn at the end of the timer. Beat this boss to complete the Horadric Strongroom and acquire a Horadric Tome. The tome grants you a random recipe, so you may have to grind out the strongroom a few times to get the Tyrant Bane recipe. Use the recipe to craft the item.
