Diablo 4’s The Torch Unforgotten quest follows right after the events of the A Wanderer into Flames quest. After the heated battle with Astaroth, Bryona and the team emerge victorious. The Torch Unforgotten quest acts as a prologue of sorts to the battle, with Bryona and Davish reflecting on the journey that got them this far.

The duo also has newfound respect for Donan, a figure that Bryona had vehemently hated for most of the journey leading up to the battle. This is one of the more emotional quests in the game and consists of purely dialogue. If you become stuck on this quest in any way, you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, we shall go over how to complete the Torch Unforgotten quest in Diablo 4.

After you’re done beating Astaroth and his three-headed beast, take the portal before you to get to Firebreak Manor. Once you spawn into the area, head to your left and past the stairs, and then take the first right. You’ll find Bryona resting beside a few graves.

Talk to Davish and select the “The Druids aren’t mad at Bryona?” option. He’ll inform you that the Druids were mad for the risks she took, but are open to admitting their mistake. Davish and Bryona then have a bit of back-and-forth banter.

Once that’s over, talk to Bryona and select the “Saying goodbye? option. She then admits that she was wrong about Donan, and he sacrificed everything to fulfil his oath. Once this part of the conversation is done, select the “The common folk need a champion, Horadrim or not. Fight for them.” option. She will then agree to your suggestion, stating that she owes one to the common folk anyway, and this is what Donan would’ve wanted of her. The conversation will then conclude, and the quest will be completed.
