Diablo 4’s latest season, Season 9: Sins of Horadrim, dives into the evil past of the lands and their connection to hell. The storyline spans several quests, and The Unseeable Demands Their Gaze may be one of the harder ones in the game. The quest sees you seeking clues to purge Astaroth’s Blood, and the solution you find may be the hardest challenge you’ve faced so far. The quest is fairly challenging and there’s a lot to do, so let’s get right to it.

How To Complete The Unseeable Demands Their Gaze in Diablo 4
You begin The Unseeable Demands Their Gaze by talking to Davish in Cerrigar. He’ll tell you that Bryona is upset and has run off to the Horadric Vault. He requests that you bring her back. The vault will then be visible on your map. Head to the marker to reach the vault.
Enter the vault, and you’ll find Bryona all by herself. Talk to her, and she will apologize to you for her temper tantrum and reveal that she has found clues in Elias’ notes. To send back Astaroth’s Blood, you’ll have to summon Astaroth himself. The risk is too great, and she believes the notes may be incomplete. You then have to look around for missing fragments of the note.
The first note fragment is in the room to your right, while the second and third are on the path to the left. Be careful of spiked traps when you head left. Once you’ve found all three missing note fragments, return to Bryona. The notes don’t have much information, but reveal that Elias had a palace near Tarsarak.

Finding the Blood Relic
While Bryona prepares for the journey, she wants you to find a Blood Relic. From here on out, things are fairly straightforward.
- Use a Nightmare Sigil to enter a Nightmare Dungeon.
- Proceed through the dungeon till you find a Horadric Strongroom. Use a Horadric Wayfinder to make the search easier.
- Interact with the Horadric Portal and enter the Horadric Strongroom.
- Complete the dungeon to acquire the Blood Relic. This will complete the quest.
