Ultimate Damage is the damage dealt by your Ultimate attacks in Diablo 4. The game reads all damage done by Ultimate skills as Ultimate Damage, but does not count any other additional damage as part of it. So if your Ultimate Skill deals an additional bleed damage, the bleed does not add to your Ultimate count.
Knowing your Ultimate Damage is important because you frequently acquire gear and abilities that enhance your Ultimate Damage. If a piece of equipment says “+10% to Ultimate Damage,” knowledge of what this damage is helps you plan out your builds better.
