Anime Rangers X was not hit with another DMCA strike but was removed due to a minor issue with the platform.
On April 25, 2025, Anime Rangers X was taken down from the Roblox platform. Initially, the developers stated that the issue occurred due to a copyright claim. However, a while later, it was announced that the game was taken down due to a minor issue with the platform. The developers have ensured that the issue will be resolved soon and that the game will be back on the platform as soon as possible.
Some other tower defense games on the platform have previously faced issues with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, or the DMCA, as well.
Why Was Anime Rangers X Taken Down From Roblox?
The developers did not provide a solid answer as to why the game was taken down. Players speculate that the developers faced an issue with codes that led to it being removed. The game had previously faced copyright issues with some of the units from One Piece, according to reports. However, members of the development team state that this time around, it is a different issue. An update was provided on the community group stating that the game will be back soon.

The developers have stated on their Discord server that the game will probably be back by April 28, 2025. For those unaware, the Roblox support team does not operate on the weekends. For this reason, the developers cannot release the game earlier. But players should not worry, as the game will be back soon. The game might be released with a new name, according to speculations. The developers stated the following in their Discord server:
“We are pleased to inform you that the issue has now been successfully resolved. However, to ensure absolute certainty and peace of mind, we will be contacting Roblox Support and aim to proceed with the re-release by Monday, provided all goes smoothly. Please note that Roblox Support does not operate on weekends, which may affect the timing.“
