The Genius or Crackpot? Mission in Digimon Story Time Stranger is the seventh mission. It is a brief storyline where players accompany Kosuke and Aegiomon to Shinjuku Park and take part in an experiment or training session supervised by scientist Dr. Monica Simmons. While the quest itself is quite simple and linear, some players might need assistance during the experiment segment. So, in this guide, we will walk you through the mission in detail.
Digimon Story Time Stranger: Genius or Crackpot? Mission Walkthrough
Head to the Living Room
Once the day begins, and you are all set to start, is the Genius or a Crackpot? mission in Digimon Story Time Stranger, exit the attic at the Misono household and head down to the living room. If you have played the Time Stranger quest, you will already know the directions. In the living room, you will find Kosuke and Aegiomon.
When you talk to them, Kosuke will tell you that he wants you to meet someone. After that, you will have to go straight to Shinjuku Park. If you choose the “Let’s go right away” option, you will instantly be teleported to the destination. Once you get there, you will have to find Kodai Kuremi and Monica Simmons. The former is the Chief Investigator, and the latter is a scientist. Then, Dr. Simmons will start experimenting with Aegiomon.

Participate in the Experiment
This will be a training segment where you will have to complete certain targets and actions with Aegiomon. Your first objective will be to attack a shielded soldier with the Digimon. Of course, your opponent will stay in one place and be harmless. To progress in the test, you will need to keep using the Wind Claw attack.
After the test is over, Aegiomon will go and play with some children in Shinjuku Park. Find him by following the quest marker and speaking to him. Then, you will find yourself back in the attic of the Misono house. Your operator will call soon, and after a conversation with him, the Genius or Crackpot? mission in Digimon Story Time Stranger will end. The next quest in line will be “A Vow Made on a Starry Sky.”
