Twitch streamer Roberto “Fanum” is one of the popular names associated with the AMP (Any Means Possible) streamer/YouTube group. Recently, he went viral on X after claiming to be the father of two children. He ended up bringing in a woman, whom he introduced as his “baby mama.” For those unfamiliar with this phrase, a “baby mama” is the mother of one’s children, but is someone who they did not marry. To clarify, Fanum does not actually have any kids.

The joke started earlier in October. During a stream with FaZe Clan member Jason “Jasontheween,” Fanum alleged:

“I was 16 actually (when I had my first child). Nah, real sh*t. I ain’t gonna lie, I feel for my kids…I don’t like putting them on the internet. I’m genuine, I’m not playing around. I keep it personal, similar to how relationships of me, I don’t like, (sharing it on social media). I’m deada**. No trolling. I don’t put them online, I don’t post pictures and sh*t. All the pictures I do take, are on my film camera and my mon has it.”

After this seemingly revelatory information, Fanum went live yesterday (October 27). Toward the end of his stream, he introduces a woman carrying a girl, and Fanum himself reveals that he has another child. Watch the clip here:

“Yo chat, it’s been f**king real! It’s been freaking real! Yo! W in the chat!”

Despite the viral clips and the streamer insisting (during his stream with Jasontheween) on him being a father of two, the entire situation was likely a set-up for trolls and clips. Essentially, his stream was themed around getting a “9-5 job.” Towards the end, he gets enough money to fund his family’s expenses. These were orchestrated just for the stream.

Note: He was playing a character called “Frederick” on the stream. (Timestamp: 07:51:25)

How Did Fanum Get Famous?

Fanum is a member of AMP, one of America’s most popular and rapidly rising streamer groups. While Kai Cenat stands out as the group’s biggest name, he has carved out his reputation over the past few years through his engaging content and collaborations.

Born in New York, Fanum first ventured into online entertainment by creating his YouTube channel, Fanum Live, in January 2013, where he initially focused on NBA 2K content. He later expanded to Twitch, starting his streaming journey there in November 2016.

Aside from NBA 2K, Fanum also produced content centered around GTA V RP. Nowadays, he streams a wide variety of content, primarily under the “Just Chatting” category, often featuring a range of guests, including other AMP members.

The streamer also popularized the phrase “Fanum Tax,” which has become a viral sensation among Gen Z and the online community. “Fanum Tax” typically refers to the act of taking a portion of someone else’s meal, similar to how taxation would work.

Fanum had a breakout year in 2023, winning the “Breakout Streamer of the Year” award at the 13th Streamy Awards in August. In 2024, he continued to grow in popularity, making an appearance at the Sidemen’s first-ever live event, Inside.
