Inzoi is a life simulator game most often compared with The Sims franchise for its detailed character customization and organic storytelling. It allows players to create their own characters that inhabit a town where they form relationships, forge careers, and grow through their interactions.
inzoi uses AI in its development, and it also uses AI features to offer a wide range of customization options to players. The developers behind Inzoi have been transparent about their use of AI, stating that it helps create more realistic and immersive gameplay.
Inzoi: AI Features in the Game
Krafton has stated that the AI model used in inzoi’s development is trained using Krafton’s art assets and open-source material. The statement was meant to put players at ease by assuring them of the developer’s ethical AI practices. Instead, it sparked a debate about whether AI use adds character and value to games.

Text to Image AI
Inzoi features a generative AI tool that allows players to create textures based on text prompts. Players can use AI-generated textures for characters’ clothes or furniture items. Krafton stated that they created the dataset for this feature using 20 million images available under Creative Commons licenses.
Video-to-Motion AI
inzoi’s Video-to-Motion AI system allows characters to mimic natural human movements such as walking, embracing, and dancing during development. Players can use the system to create poses and emotes for their characters using image and video input.
You can record a video of yourself dancing and upload it to have your character perform the same dance as an emote. Additionally, Unreal’s Live Link Face app can make a character mimic your facial expressions during conversations.
3D Printing AI
The “3D Printer” system is an in-game feature that creates objects based on inserted images. Players can use these objects to accessorize characters or replace furniture. For example, you can upload a high-resolution picture of angel wings using the 3D Printer feature. The tool will create a 3D rendering of the wings, which you can then attach to a character’s back.
Smart Zoi Technology
Smart Zoi utilizes an SLM (Small Language Model) to make the characters analyze their interactions with each other at the end of the day through what the developers call the Inner Thoughts System. This AI tool allows them to react differently to interactions on the following day, simulating experiences and personality growth.
