Speed your way across the entire map using the teleporting underground reels with the fast travel feature in Donkey Kong Bananza.
There are multiple stages and layers throughout the game, Donkey Kong Bananza. Various reasons can occur, prompting you to want to replay some of the missions on the previous level. These could include performing an action for an achievement or looking for collectibles. For such instances, a specific feature will help you travel wherever you need.
In this article, we will look at how the photo mode works in Donkey Kong Bananza.
Fast Travel in Donkey Kong Bananza
Fast travel is a handy feature that comes into play when you need to travel to any layer that you have previously traveled to. To unlock fast travel, you will first need to look for a gong in the area you are in. These are blue triangle-shaped areas that the game will automatically point you towards.
Once there, using Donkey Kong, smash the gong. This will have a fish pop out, swallowing you on Pauline and opening the fast-travel option. Over here you will be able to select the layer which you would like to teeleport (teleport) to. You can also access this feature from the pause menu.
Other ways to teleport or Fast Travel
Activate this by pressing the ‘minus’ button to open the map. Once there, click on a blue icon hovering on top of a blue-triangle base. These will be called the ‘Warp Gongs’, which you can click the ‘A’ button to teeleport. When using the map, you won’t need to be standing near the ‘Warp Gong’ and can easily fast-travel from the spot you are currently standing on.
By clearing the debris on some of the tuning-fork-shaped objects on your map, you will unlock ‘checkpoints’. These are then highlighted on your map, which you can also use for teleporting. Last but not least, you can use some of the gold you acquire to build getaways to later serve as fast travel points. In the map, these will be marked with a house icon.
