Beat the boss Abracajabya at the Forest Layer by understanding its weaknesses, and move forward in Donkey Kong Bananza.
In Donkey Kong Bananza, there are bosses you will encounter across each layer you pass through. Abracajabya is one such boss you will encounter in the forest layer. This battle has a predictable pattern of attacks, which has slight variations as you proceed across each round.
In this article, we will look at how to beat this boss in Donkey Kong Bananza.
Abracajabya Boss Battle in Donkey Kong Bananza
Abracajabya uses vines that extend from the flower on which it settles. These are layered with moving traps and obstacles to hinder your travel across them. There is a minimum of three rounds, which is likely to increase depending on how much damage you inflict on the boss when you have the chance.
Round 1
Abracajabya begins the round by shooting vines towards the platform we start at. The first round is layered with a lot of uprooted red vines. Occasionally, purple liquid blobs will roll towards you, which you can dodge by jumping over them. You can also uproot the vine terrain and use it to smash the vines to make your travel easier. Once you reach the end, clobber at Abracajabya until it loses 1/3 of its health. The boss then disappears and reappears on another flower in the distance.
Round 2
The boss will then shoot a new path of the vine road towards the flower you are standing on. This time around, the vines are a bit more spread out with a more wavy path. The purple blobs this time cover the entire path, forcing you to jump each time they come. Collect all the coins you can on your way.
As you reach the end, a cage of red vines forms as a final barrier. So be slow on your approach, or you may jump right into it. Pick up some terrain and smash your way through it. Once you reach the boss, repeat your previous action and clobber it till its life drops by 2/3 of its full health bar.
Round 3
For the third round, the boss now shoots two paths towards you. The paths are thinner, with the red vines completely blocking your way. This removes the option of walking around it, leaving you with two other ways. You could either just smash your way through the vines or use your ostrich transformation and fly to the other path and repeat till you reach the end.
Flying is the best option as the liquid purple blobs are much bigger and are very likely to hurt you. Once you reach the boss, inflict the last set of damage, and you will finally defeat it.
