Given that Verdansk will be returning to Call of Duty: Warzone in April, Rumble streamer Dr DisRespect recently said on X that other Call of Duty streamers might be “jobless” in the months ahead. He stated that this would happen if the upcoming update was not good.

With persistent backlash over cheating that Activision is finding difficult to control and a perceived lack of content that feeds what many in the community believe is a declining player base, Warzone has had a difficult 12 months. Verdansk is under pressure to revitalize Warzone. Activision is hoping that a little nostalgia for the battle royale’s initial state will help it along.

According to a trailer on their official X account and the game’s official website, the next update, called Verdansk Replay, will launch on April 3, 2025. Dr DisRespect responded in a post on March 18, 2025. He wrote:

“If Verdansk sucks, a lot of streamers will be jobless.”

Dr DisRespect Reacts As Activision Announces New Call of Duty Update With the Return of Verdansk

Dr DisRespect made the statement when Activision declared in a March 10, 2025, post that they would be bringing back the game’s original map, Verdansk. The map has always been a favorite among players. In March 2025, Verdansk will be reintroduced to commemorate Warzone’s fifth anniversary. In-game characters were shown landing on the well-known map in the accompanying trailer.

Because of his broadcasts that frequently discuss FPS shooter games, Dr DisRespect is a well-known figure in the community. The online personality was once a well-known Twitch streamer before getting banned from the site in 2020. The reason for the ban was not stated initially. However, his next move was to YouTube, where he stayed until 2024. This was prior to his 2020 ban being made public. Later, he also acknowledged having inappropriate conversations with a minor.

In addition to being one of the first content creators on the site and offering unique, subscription-based content, Dr DisRespect currently serves as an advisor and the head of Rumble’s gaming area.
