Here’s what we know about the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLCs so far, including characters, release details, and how to access.
With Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLCs now officially confirmed, the fandom is hyped, especially after the base game surprised everyone with its huge roster. It seems that Bandai Namco did not wish to stop at 182 playable characters. The latest installment in the DB gaming universe will continue to expand the roster through DLCs.
If you are somebody who spends a long time deciding who to play as, this may not be ideal for you. But, we are getting spoiled, that’s for sure. The Dragon Ball fan in you will rejoice knowing that three DLCs are on the way. You just have to wait till the first quarter of the new year.
On the eve of the game’s release, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero updated its Steam page to market the Season Pass. Clicking on it will lead you to a page with detailed information about the upcoming content.
All three DLCs will contain characters from a fan-favorite movie and the upcoming Dragon Ball anime. Bandai Namco didn’t reveal any story-based content. Players may be able to purchase the DLCs separately if they don’t wish to pay for the Season Pass, but the latter will come with three-day early access to the said packs.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC Characters and Release Date
DLC Pack 1 – Quarter 1 (2025)
This pack will include characters from the beloved 2022 movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. However, we don’t know their names at the time of writing.
DLC Pack 2 – Quarter 1 (2025)
The same quarter will also see the release of the second DLC pack, where Dragon Ball DAIMA characters will be seen for the first time in a game. The show hasn’t yet been released.
DLC Pack 3 – Quarter 2 (2025)
Bandai Namco will add more playable fighters from DAIMA as part of their final DLC update.
The developer may be planning to bring more downloadable content down the line, but for now, things end with characters from the upcoming Dragon Ball show.
