Dream responded to TommyInnit’s post on X, clarifying that his comments had no connection to any political stance.
Amid the recent controversy involving Thomas “Tommyinnit” and xQc; Clay, aka Dream, got involved after sharing a meme calling Tommy’s fans the “r-word.” After Dream’s post was shared in his X community, TommyInnit posted on X, mentioning Trump was all it took to get Dream’s attention.
During a recent livestream, Clay responded to Tommy’s post, clarifying that Tommy knows his political views and that the statement was a complete lie. He also accused Tommy of getting his audience to “sh*t on” Clay by forcing a false narrative about him supporting Trump.
“Tommy knows my political point of view and Tommy knows my opinions and knows that this is just a lie and an attempt to get people to sh*t on me, you know, for being a Trump supporter, and that’s the reason I got involved, when he knows that’s not the case.”

In the stream, Clay also addressed the underlying issues that led to him getting involved in the feud. He stated that Tommy has been “shooting shots” at him for a while now. He also stated that he finds Tommy’s claims about him as disingenuous.
“He knows that I got involved because of my problems with him. He knows that I got involved because he’s been shooting shots at me for a while… It’s just disingenuous because he doesn’t care about the fact that he’s lying.”
On the same day, Tommyinnit uploaded a 5-minute video titled ‘Dream.’ He addressed Clay, saying that Clay should be ashamed of his reckless use of the “r-word.” Tommy reminisced on his time volunteering for his mother working with mentally disabled people.
He stated that the people with the mental disability were called the slur and how it affected their mental health. In the later part of the video, Tommy addressed his own feud with the creator and stated that Dream should take some time off the internet and reflect on his behavior.
“I really hope you’re not a genuine bad person with a bad heart, but mate, you need to get off the internet now. Go and get some therapy, spend some time around your loved ones, go on a walk, and look after yourself.”
Other Situations Dream Addressed on the Livestream
On his stream, Dream addressed other issues alongside the Tommyinnit feud. Clay addressed Tubbo’s allegations of feeling uncomfortable over conversations in the Dream SMP discord channel. Clay seemingly admitted to seeing the explicit images on the server. However, he denied his involvement in the situation and stated that it was some other members of the server.
“In like one of the Dream SMP chats or whatever, there was like a fan art p**n image shown. Now, obviously, that’s not something that should be shown regardless to anybody… But to give context, because I think it is important to this situation, is it was a bunch of Dream SMP people in a call looking at the fact that fans were drawing crazy art like that and making fun of it and being like, oh my god, this is crazy, this is disgusting.”

Dream also showed his private conversations with Tommy during the stream. In the message sent by Clay, he asked Tommy if they were even friends. Clay called out Thomas after stating that the latter was “being a d**k” to Dream. In the same message, Clay mentioned that he tried to make sense of Tommy’s behavior by thinking it might just be because he’s younger or that it’s his character.
Tommyinnit replied to the situation by stating that he did not want famous YouTubers to leak private messages with him when he was 16 years old.
