Hellfire is a tank Pyro unit that scales off of her HP stat in Duet Night Abyss. This means you will be building her differently from other DPS characters in the game. However, she still deals a decent amount of damage. Her primary gameplay is slowly burning enemy HP before finishing them off with weapon attacks. On top of that, she is reliable at being a damage sponge with a taunt mechanic to keep enemies glued to her.

With that said, this guide will cover the best build for Hellfire in Duet Night Abyss, including the team compositions that suit her.

Best Weapons for Hellfire in Duet Night Abyss

Melee Weapon

The best melee weapon for Hellfire in DNA is Punitive Inferno. This weapon increases Max HP, which is good for her stat scaling. On top of that, this weapon also increases Skill Duration when taking damage. It’s a good weapon to have if you want to get up close and personal with enemies. You can use your taunt to force enemies to hit you and activate this weapon’s effect.

Undying Oneiros is also a good alternative if you just want to focus on scaling as much HP as you can. This weapon further increases your Max HP when triggering bonus effects. However, keep in mind that having too high Max HP can be counterintuitive. You are better off getting a good balance between HP and damage for better DPS output.

Ranged Weapon

If you prefer ranged weapons for Hellfire, Excresduo is a good option. This enhances your Skill Damage significantly, further increasing your DPS. However, it lacks anything that can increase your Max HP.

Destructo is your second option, which increases your Skill Range. This lets you reach more enemies from a distance. Additionally, the knock-up effect from its projectiles is a good Crowd Control effect to have.

Best Demon Wedges for Hellfire in Duet Night Abyss

Here is a list of the best Demon Wedges you can equip to Hellfire:

  • Slot 1: Inferno – Wildfire
  • Slot 2: Wings – Inspo
  • Slot 3: Prime – Serenity
  • Slot 4: Trapped
  • Slot 5: Nirvana Spectrum
  • Slot 6: Volition
  • Slot 7: Nirvana
  • Slot 8: Devouring Wildfire
  • Core: Vigilant

While leveling up Hellfire, consider prioritizing the following skills:

SkillPriorityDescription
Raging InfernoHighHellfire enters a Retribution state, surrounding himself with searing flames that burn nearby enemies every few seconds. If he takes damage while in this state, Retribution lasts longer and triggers an even stronger fiery counterattack, striking enemies around him with intense Pyro bursts.
Retributive ResolveMidIncreases Max HP and also continuously regenerates lost HP.
Cage of DespairLowDeals AoE Pyro Damage to surrounding enemies and taunts them on impact.

Best Geniemon

As a Pyro DPS, the best Geniemon for Hellfire is Pyrelf. Similar to Margie, Hellfire can capitalize on Pyrelf’s 2.4% Pyro Attack damage buff. This also applies to the combat partners in the team. On top of that, Pyro Demon Wedges prefixed with Griffin, Typhon, and Covenanter also get amplified by 0.9%. However, this Geniemon is a bit tricky to acquire. You can get Pyrelf by leveling up the Bard’s Tome Battle Pass and reaching Level 30.

If you want an alternative that is easier to acquire, you can get Pyrotail instead. Its buff is a bit weaker, increasing the team’s Pyro Attack by 1.2% only. On top of that, Demon Wedges prefixed with Phoenix will have an increased effect of 0.5%. While the buffs are a bit smaller, they make up for how easy it is to get. You only need to catch a Pyrotail and feed it with treats until you befriend it.

Best Hellfire Team in Duet Night Abyss

For the best team that fits Hellfire’s playstyle, you can have Margie and Phoxhunter to support you. This team has a good mix of Sub-DPS and damage amplifier support. You can never go wrong with extra damage that adds up to your overall DPS. You are already tanky with a self-healing kit, so you won’t need a healer for the team.

Margie provides good DPS on top of her Strike Combat Partner Passive that increases the team’s overall attack significantly. On the other hand, Phoxhunter is a good support that can increase Weapon Damage and buff normal attacks.
