Burial Ground of Time in Duet Night Abyss is a main story quest that takes place just after you’ve completed Escape the Purgatorio Island story quest. This previous quest ends with you discovering your first ranged weapon. With Burial Ground of Time, the game slowly takes the game’s story forward, while familiarizing you with how your ranged weaponry functions. In the following guide, we’ll discover exactly how you can complete this specific quest.
Walkthrough for Burial Ground of Time in Duet Night Abyss
You don’t have to do anything to trigger the quest. You just need to complete the previous quest within the main story for this one to begin automatically. Once it starts, here’s what you need to do.
Reach the Mountain Ruins
On your way back to the Village at the end of the last quest, you will run into several Filthoids. Keep fighting these enemies off, and you can take the opportunity to become more proficient with your ranged weapon. Soon, a tutorial for the grapple point will unlock. Grapple to the top of a roof here, and keep eliminating any enemies that follow you there. Once all of the Filthoids are down, you can move freely. Follow the objective marker to reach a cave on the mountain. Defeat any Filthoids that you find in this area.
Reach the Giant Statue
You can begin inspecting the large cavern and proceed until you see a huge statue. As you approach it, a cutscene triggers. In this scene, the Phoxhunter (you) will use your sword to open a path forward.

Open the Gate
After the cutscene ends, go around the statue to enter an elevator that takes you up to the ruins. As you exit the elevator, you will run into a gate blocking your way. Interact with it and solve a simple puzzle to unlock the gate. You need to master basic timing and reflexes to clear the puzzle here.
Look for the Airship
Explore the ruins freely, but make sure you proceed toward the quest marker. During this time, you will run into several Filthoids, who’ll lie in wait and ambush you as soon as you approach. Take them down and keep moving forward until you reach a large clearing. Here, you will be able to spot the airship. However, before you can get there, a swarm of Filthoids will appear and block your path. During the subsequent fight, the game will initiate the Combat Skills tutorial.
After getting through that tutorial, you can use all of your Skill attacks and weapons to clear the way. Once you’ve killed the required number of Filthoids, the Burial Ground of Time quest comes to an end.
