Learn how to add friends in Duet Night Abyss, unlock co-op missions, share UIDs, and team up for commission dungeons.
Having friends in Duet Night Abyss brings more than just extra names on a list. Once you have added them, you can team up for special co-op missions, bringing the social side of the game into focus. You will tackle commission dungeons together and make better use of the multiplayer options. You will also unlock features like shared hub areas and chat with your friends, making your experience richer. So adding friends isn’t just optional, it becomes a key part of how you play.
How To Add Friends in Duet Night Abyss
1. Meet the Unlock Requirements
Before you can use the friend system, you must:
- Reach Trial Rank 19.
- Finish the quest In the Depths of Winter.
- Finish the quest Dedicated Chef.
- Then complete the main quest Black Iron and White Flower.
After that final one, the Friends menu becomes visible, and your co-op mode opens.
2. Find and Share Your UID
Your UID is the unique ID that other players use to find you. Here’s how to locate it:
- Open the Menu (top-left on the main screen).
- Under your Phoxhunter’s name, you will see your UID.
- Use the Copy button or write it down, or screenshot it.
- Share that UID with your friends (over chat, Discord, etc.). Have them send their UID to you, too, so you can add them back.
3. Send a Friend Request
Once you have someone else’s UID and you are on the same server:
- Open the Menu and go to Friends.
- Select “Add Friend” or the search field.
- Enter the friend’s UID exactly.
- Press Send, and your friend will receive a notification of your request.
4. Accept Incoming Requests
When someone sends you a friend request:
- Go to Menu > Friends > Friend Requests.
- Select the pending request.
- Tap Accept. Once both sides accept, you will see each other on the friend list.
5. Make Sure You Are on the Same Server
Cross-server friending is not supported. So if you or your friend picked different servers/regions, you won’t be able to add each other. Always check the server before sending or accepting a request.
Use Friends for Co-Op Commissions in Duet Night Abyss
Once your friends are added, you can team up for co-op missions anytime. Just head to the Commissions interface and pick the mission you want to run together. Invite your friends from your list, form a party of two to four players, and start the commission. You will fight side by side through the mission, coordinate attacks, and share all the rewards once it’s completed. It’s a simple and fun way to make progress while enjoying the game with others.
