Duet Night Abyss: The Final Contract Walkthrough

The Final Contract is a side quest that puts you right in the middle of a mystery. Lina, the caretaker at Hypnos House in the Eastern District, discovers something strange while cleaning. Scratches on the walls and stains that look like blood set off a new investigation into Henrik’s death.

The quest only becomes available after you finish the Hello, Icelake quest. To start this side quest, head over to Hypnos House in the Eastern District. Walk inside and look to the right of the staircase near the entrance. You will find Lina standing there. Talk to her to begin.

She tells you about the marks and dried blood she found while cleaning. That short chat leads to your first impression check. Make sure your Empathy stat is high enough before starting, or you may need to come back later once you have built it up.

How To Complete The Final Contract in Duet Night Abyss

This quest has three dialogue sections and one short puzzle. You can take your time since you can retry failed checks later after improving your stats.

Prompt 1: Empathy Check (Difficulty 105)

Lina mentions that everyone thinks the house is haunted, and she notices that you do not look scared. This triggers an Empathy check. You need 105 Empathy and one d10 dice to pass.

• If you pass: You get Secret Letter Clue x2 and Coin x2000.
• If you fail: You can quit and return later once your Empathy stat is higher.

Prompt 2: Dialogue Choices

Next, Lina talks about Henrik’s kindness and how he treated everyone with care. You get to choose how to respond, and each option affects your impression stats differently.

Picking the third option gives you +3 Empathy. It also makes the conversation feel more genuine.

Prompt 3: Wisdom Check (Difficulty 110)

Lina then decides to return Henrik’s key to his desk. You feel something familiar about the key, which triggers a Wisdom check. You need a Wisdom stat of 110 or more and a d10 dice to pass.

• If you pass: You earn Secret Letter Clue x2 and Coin x2000
• If you fail: You can come back after raising your Wisdom stat.

Mini-Game Puzzle: Unlocking Henrik’s Desk

Once the dialogue part is done, head downstairs to Henrik’s office.

1. Go down the stairs near where you met Lina.
2. Walk through the hallway until you reach the office at the end.
3. Find Henrik’s desk and use the key to start the puzzle.

The puzzle asks you to turn all the white sections yellow. Each tap changes nearby tiles, so you need to think ahead. Once all sections are yellow, the desk opens and a cutscene plays. That cutscene wraps up the quest.
