Survival difficulty offers a standard level of challenge in Dying Light The Beast. It is not the easiest mode, and if you are a someone who does not want a cakewalk, this is the right mode for you.
Brutal Difficulty Mode
The Brutal difficulty mode is dangerous and has the following properties:
- Enemies pose a serious threat right from the beginning. They deal massive damage, and adapt to your tactics and playstyle.
- Stamina is a crucial resource. Your actions consume more stamina and it regenerates very slowly as well.
- You lose a lot of XP when you die. However, you also find more XP while looting.
- Resource management becomes extremely crucial. Merchants offer less items during the early stages, and your armor offers very little protection.
If you are a Dying Light veteran, the Brutal difficulty mode is the right one for you. It amps up the challenge to the maximum, and you will greatly need to rely on strategy more than a random hack-and-slash nature.
