In this guide, we’ll explore how you can get your hands on the Sawblade in Dying Light The Beast and how you can use it.
Locating the Sawblade in Dying Light The Beast can take quite a bit of time and effort. With it, you can slice through swarms of zombies without breaking a sweat. The weapon is a great choice if you’re looking to farm XP by clearing out as many of the infected as you come across as possible.
However, grabbing the blueprint for the Sawblade Launcher will require you to level up sufficiently, since the area it’s in can be too challenging at earlier levels. In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can grab the schematics for the Sawblade and how you can then begin using it.
How To Get Sawblade in Dying Light The Beast
Getting the Blueprint
You can find the Sawblade Launcher schematics inside the Silos Safe Zone within the Farmlands Region. This area might be too difficult for you until you reach at least Level 6. So, we recommend only attempting the following if you’re at that level or higher. After reaching the Silos area, simply follow the steps below to grab the weapon schematic.
- Step 1: Use the ladder to climb up toward the Silos safehouse.
- Step 2: Get through the obstacles and reach the top of the Silos.
- Step 3: Use various parkour maneuvers to climb up the structure.
- Step 4: When you reach the top, clear the area of all infected.
- Step 5: Break through the pallet in front of a vent that leads into the Silos structure.
- Step 6: Enter through the vent to find several items in the room, including the Sawblade Launcher blueprint.
- Step 7: Pick up the blueprint.
Crafting the Weapon
Once you have the blueprint, you can craft the weapon. You’ll require the following materials to craft the Sawblade in Dying Light The Beast:
- 100x Scraps
- 10x Blades
- 3x Battery
- 1x Gun Parts
How To Use the Sawblade Launcher in Dying Light The Beast
You can equip the Sawblade Launcher the same way as you would any other ranged weapon. The weapon is most effective when you fire it when two or more unarmored enemies are standing in a row. It can then slice through them, making for some unique kills.
However, if you run out of ammo, you’ll need to craft more. For that, you’ll need Scraps, Leather, and Blades. Keep in mind that this weapon simply isn’t as effective against heavily armored foes as it is against lightly or unarmored enemies.
