Here is a walkthrough guide on how you can complete the Toxic Relationships quest in Dying Light The Beast.
Toxic Relations is a quest in Dying Light: The Beast that starts off after completing the ‘Secrets In The Air’ mission. After saving the Town Hall from destruction, you go on another Chimera Infected hunt. You will encounter a boss fight later on in this mission. Make sure you are well-equipped before venturing out on this quest.
Just like every mission in Dying Light The Beast, the Toxic Relationships quest also rewards you with XP and Old World Money. To help you out, here is a walkthrough guide you can follow.

How To Complete Toxic Relationships in Dying Light The Beast
Meet Up With Olivia
To start the Toxic Relationships mission, you first need to meet up with Olivia. You can find him waiting in a car. Approaching her will initiate a cutscene where you discuss a Chimera Infected. Your goal is to hunt down this specimen and take it down.
Fine the Chimera Infected
With a goal in mind, you will then have to head to the quest marker, which will lead you to a forest park. Follow the trail and use your Survivor’s Sense to highlight and investigate a dead body nearby. Keep exploring the area while using your Survivor’s Sense. Eventually, it will highlight a gas canister, which you can use to activate a device. This will lure out a Chimera Infected called the Toxin from hiding. Be quick, as it will immediately attack you if you are not careful.

Defeat the Toxin Boss
The Toxin Chimera Infected can move very fast and can be hard to keep up with. It can shoot streams of acid that can damage you if you get hit. Make sure you avoid these attacks by hiding behind the stone pillars in the area.
Dealing with him alone is manageable. However, the Toxin boss will also spawn runners and biters. This can be overwhelming to keep track of. Here are some tips on how you can survive this boss fight.
- Focus on clearing the smaller enemies first.
- Don’t forget to take cover in stone pillars when the Chimera Infected starts charging up an attack.
- Use your melee attacks as much as you can. You don’t want to run out of ammo when you need it the most.
- Beware of power attacks from the Chimera Infected. Always dodge these attacks and don’t attempt to block them.
Playing in co-op makes this boss fight easier. You and your duo can swap places, distracting the boss and going on the offensive with melee attacks. With enough kiting, you will eventually take down the boss.
