How To Unlock Battle of Shenting in Dynasty Warriors Origins?
You can start the Battle of Shenting mission in Dynasty Warriors Origins after completing the previous mission, Battle of Niuzhu, in the Wu arc of Chapter 4. The primary goal in the Battle of Shenting is to defeat Liu Yao while capturing his enemy bases and defeating Taishi Ci.
On the other hand, ensure that Sun Ce and Zhou Yu do not retreat from the battle, as their withdrawal will result in the failure of the mission. The Battle of Shenting progresses through the following key events:

How To Complete Dynasty Warriors Origins Battle of Shenting Mission?
Clearing Northeast and Northwest Enemy Bases
You will begin the mission in the northeast corner of the battlefield. Cross the bridge and clear all the surrounding enemy bases in the northeast and northwest sections. Defeat the enemy generals stationed at various camps to capture the bases. This boosts the courage of your ally forces.
Battle Between Sun Ce and Taishi Ci
Taishi Ci, the powerhouse of Liu Yao’s forces, advances to the center to prevent his allies from falling on the battlefield. While Zhou Yu uses this opportunity to break through the enemy’s defense, Sun Ce advances with his forces to face Taishi Ci. However, Taishi Ci overpowers Sun Ce’s forces, boosting the morale of the enemy troops. Rush to Sun Ce’s location and assist him in overcoming the dire situation.
Clearing Enemy Bases with Sun Ce’s Forces
During your clash with Taishi Ci, Liu Yao’s forces spread false information about Taishi Ci’s betrayal, causing a significant drop in their morale. As a result, Taishi Ci falls back to Liu Yao’s base in the south. Sun Ce seizes the opportunity to clear the remaining bases in the surroundings.
Defeating Taishi Ci
As Taishi Ci is labeled as a traitor, Liu Yao refuses to allow him inside the base. Despite this, he makes a stand at the base entrance to defend against Sun Ce’s forces. Rush to his location and engage him in battle. As a key member of the enemy forces, defeating Taishi Ci is a tough challenge. Use your Rage mode and special attacks strategically to neutralize him.
Defeating Liu Yao
Meanwhile, Sun Ce’s forces advance to Liu Yao’s base. Once you clear all the surrounding enemy bases, head to the south camp where Liu Yao awaits with his forces.
Utilize your special attacks and character swapping effectively to defeat Liu Yao in the final battle. Once Liu Yao is defeated, the mission will be successfully completed. After the battle, Taishi Ci joins forces with Sun Ce, drawn by his charismatic leadership.
