Check out the release date, available platforms, and pre-order bonus of Koei Tecmo’s upcoming hack-and-slash Dynasty Warriors Origins.
The release of Dynasty Warriors Origins, the upcoming hack-and-slash wargame from Koei Tecmo’s popular franchise, is on the horizon. Dynasty Warriors 9, the previous game from the franchise was launched in 2018. Dynasty Warriors Origins, the 10th installment of the series, is releasing after almost 7 years, making the franchise fans excited about the newest addition.
Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors Origins is all set to launch on January 17, 2025. It is coming to all current-gen platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam), making it one of the highly anticipated titles of the coming year.

Dynasty Warriors Origins All Editions
Dynasty Warriors Origins is open for pre-order on all the available platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Koei Tecmo’s hack-and-slash wargame comes in two editions – Standard Version and Digital Deluxe Edition.
- Standard Edition: Priced at $69.99, it includes the base game and a pre-order bonus.
- Digital Deluxe Edition: Priced at $89.99, this edition includes the base game, pre-order bonus, and additional rewards, such as:
- An Official Book and Original Soundtrack (accessible in-game).
- A special in-game letter delivered to your Inns. This letter provides Gold and Pyroxene, which are used for purchasing weapons and creating gems respectively.
- 72-hour early access, allowing players to start the game three days before its official launch.
Dynasty Warriors Origins Pre-Order Bonus
Players who pre-ordered the game will get an exclusive costume for the protagonist called ‘Nameless Warrior Garb’ as the pre-order bonus. The in-game outfit is part of a collaboration with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Koei Tecmo’s 2023 fantasy RPG. However, to claim this pre-order bonus, the game must be pre-ordered by January 16, 2025.
Additionally, there is an Early Purchase Bonus for those who purchase the physical or digital version by January 30, 2025. This bonus includes the ‘Early Works Soundtrack Collection,’ featuring 191 original music tracks and background music from the series.
