EA FC 26 releases on September 26, 2025, but you can play it right now if you buy the Ultimate Edition of the game. This edition allows gamers to play the game a week ahead of the release. PS5 and Xbox Series X | S consoles run the game brilliantly, but you take it a notch further by optimizing the settings. While EA did a lot of improvements in EA FC 25, the default settings for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S are still not quite as good. That’s why we took the time out to optimize visual settings, which makes the game look more pleasing to the eyes and delivers a better gameplay experience. These settings are provided below:

Accessibility Settings

In the Accessibility settings, there are two things that you must adjust to have better visuals: Contrast and Brightness. Go to EA FC 26’s Accessibility settings and set the Contrast setting to 7. This applies to both SDR and HDR TVs. However, when it comes to brightness, the setting will be a bit different.

Set the Brightness setting to 8 for standard SDR TVs, irrespective of the resolution. On the other hand, if you have an HDR TV, use Brightness setting 7. Anything higher than that will blow out the shadows on HDR TVs. However, if you use the settings we provided, the colors and looks of the game will pop on your TV.

Graphics Mode

Set the Graphics Mode to Enhanced Visuals for the best experience. Unlike other games, where the Quality setting means 30 FPS and the Performance setting means 60, EA FC 26 runs at 60 FPS on both graphics modes. Therefore, it’s better to choose the Enhanced Visuals setting.

Also, go into your PS5 or Xbox Series X | S’s system settings and set HDR to Always On mode. This will really bring out the colors in the game. However, those with regular SDR TVs will have to skip it.

Also, once you have set HDR to Always On mode, go to EA FC 26’s in-game HDR settings and adjust Game HDR from 100 to the desired settings. It should be within the range of 0 – 10. The default 100 value doesn’t look the best. Also, change the HDR User Interface Brightness setting to 20% in the game menu.
