The Low Driven Shot in EA FC 26 is one of the many shooting mechanics that can prove quite useful in certain situations. This move allows you to strike the ball so that it stays close to the ground while soaring towards the goal at high speed, sometimes with a beautiful curl. The move is difficult to execute, but performing it with the right player at the right time can give you a much-needed equalizer or a match-winning goal.
How To Do a Low Driven Shot in EA FC 26
Most of the mechanics in EA’s football simulation franchise have remained the same in EA FC 26, with some refinements here and there, including the low driven shot. Under the right circumstances, it is an effective move to catch the opponent off guard with a powerful strike. While most of the time, your opponents in Ultimate Team, Career Mode or normal exhibition matches expect an effort in the top bin, you can score many goals with a well-timed low driven shot.
To perform it, players first have to tap the B/Circle button on their Xbox or PlayStation controllers, respectively. Then, they must immediately tap the same button again to perform a successful strike that soars just above the ground and straight to the back of the net.
Remember that the second tap has to be quick. If you miss the timing, it will result in a weak and normal effort that any decent defender or goalkeeper can block. Indeed, it is not an easy action to perform, so we encourage gamers to practice it as much as possible.

How To Do a Low Driven Finnesse Shot in EA FC 26
If you are more of a technical player and prefer placement over pure power, you can also try a Low Driven Finesse Shot in EA FC 26. The controls for this shot are largely the same as its more force-oriented counterpart, but with some modifiers.
To perform this strike, first hold down RB/R1 on your controller and then quickly tap B/Circle twice. Your player will attempt to place the ball in the back of the net with a classic curl instead of brute force. This type of shot is more effective for wingers, as they can cut inside from their position to open an angle at the far corner with their dominant foot.
In addition, Low Driven Finesse Shots are more difficult to block because the ball will have tricky movement in the air. While it is possible to score from the middle part of the final third, your player must face slightly away from the far corner. Otherwise, you risk missing the goal entirely or sending the ball straight to the keeper.
How To Do a Low Driven Power Shot in EA FC 26
Besides the normal or finesse variant, there is also a third option called the Low Driven Power Shot. The trajectory of this shot is the same as the traditional version, but with even more power behind it. To perform it, press and hold LB/L1 and RB/R1 simultaneously, then tap B/Circle twice.
When executed, the camera will zoom in on your player as they powerfully strike a shot that is almost unstoppable from close or medium range. However, performing it successfully is tricky because it has a longer animation compared to the other two variations. Also, make sure to aim carefully, as it is easy to miss the net with a Low Driven Power Shot.
No matter which version of the low driven shot you choose, striking it straight at the goalkeeper will usually yield poor results. We highly recommend always aiming for one of the bottom corners to increase your chances of scoring. Additionally, try to make the shot with a player who has high shooting and speed stats due to the challenging nature of the move.
